Delete your account

You can delete your account and everything in it at any time, from inside the app.

Delete in the app

  1. Open Ocufuse and sign in.
  2. Go to Settings, then Account.
  3. Tap Delete account.
  4. Confirm. You may be asked to sign in again to prove it's you.

You will see a confirmation in the app and receive a confirmation email.

Export a copy firstExport a Doctor Brief or CSV before you delete. We can't recover your photos or entries afterwards.

What gets deleted

  • Your account and sign-in details
  • All your eye photos
  • All journal entries, notes, ratings and context
  • Your practice log and settings

If you signed in with Apple or Google, we also remove Ocufuse's link to that account. You can review connected apps in your Apple ID or Google Account settings.

How long it takes

Your data is removed from our live systems straight away. Copies in encrypted backups are removed within 30 days, as backups expire. We don't keep any of your photos or entries after that.

We may keep a record that a deletion request was made, with no content, to show we handled it.

Can't sign in?

If you've lost access to your account, use the contact form and choose "Delete my account", or email hello@ocufuse.com from the email address linked to your account. We will confirm it's your account and delete it within 30 days.
